One option is OV-fiets, the Dutch railway's bike rental service, with bikes available at Utrecht Centraal. Please note that OV-fiets requires an NS subscription.
Walking

Buses and trams provide convenient connections throughout Utrecht, with Utrecht Centraal serving as the city's main transport hub. Local services are operated by U-OV, with a wide range of bus routes connecting the station with the city centre and surrounding areas.
